I participate on one of the African reptile forums. At the moment, one of their members is working in Uganda and he posts natural history type photos often. Yesterday, he added a number of butterfly photos including large groups of puddling pierids and others. I thought that some of you might enjoy these so here is the link:

Greetings, all,

"Sico" has put together another great post from western Uganda. He is working in the Albertine Rift area near the Ruwenzori Mountains. He is finding all sorts of interesting birds, mammals and of course, butterflies.

He has included photos of a number of interesting species of African butterflies. Some of the genera are familiar but there are many different ones as well.
