Encountered this beauty during noon time, Chersonesia peraka peraka Little Maplet, always flew under the leaves ...:cheers:

I know how difficult it is to capture this guy, especially the underside shot.

Just do a check and the last time someone posted a locally shot LM is Sep 2008.

Just do a check and the last time someone posted a locally shot LM is Sep 2008.

Yes, the last time when someone posted was in Sept 2008. I am rather happy that it still exists 2 years later.

Congratulations on this capture of this rarely encountered species. Like, Fed, I know how difficult it is to get underside shots of species in the Genus. I have 3 species of the Genus up here, and am still to get anything close to a passable underside shot.
