What kind of butterfly is this?

That looks suspiciously like one of the forms of the Great Eggfly (Hypolimnas bolina). I am not certain how many forms or subspecies there are in the Philippines, but if you look at my earlier blog article (http://butterflycircle.blogspot.com/2009/11/observation-notes-on-variability-of.html), and take a look at the last two pictures in the article, your butterfly looks relatively close to the ones there.

This is one species of very variable butterflies that some researchers are breeding and doing experiments to see how the species, subspecies and forms are evolving.
