Lycaenidae and Hesperiidae are cousin? :hmmm:

But, they do look alike especially the spot on the underside forewing.

Quite an amazing skipper. Like something from South America except for its small size. It is Cupitha purreea. Note its specific name purreea is latinised from purree (Hindi-derived) for a yellow colouring matter, not the mashed food puree.

This is a particularly fine photo of a tricky species to get right.:thumbsup: (I have not got it right yet!)

It appears to be a female. I can not see the distinctive oval hindwing 'brand' in the cell which is on the upperside, but is still apparent on the underside. This exudes a waxy substance, hence the English name of the Waxy Dart.
