I came across this little creature on Santosa in June 2009 and its id was confirmed to be Nacaduba kurava after genitalia examination. I didn’t realized that N. kurava isn’t included in Singapore checklist until I received the newly published butterfly field guide. :)

N. kurava has been consistently ID'ed by our Malaysian expert on board with us here, Seow TL (aka Psyche). We are working on the details before announcing it. Most of us have shot it before and it's not really rare, especially along the 3 parks in the Southern Ridges.
There is also another Nacaduba that is also in the works, so, don't worry. These species will be eventually validated and added to the checklist.
Thanks for your shot and raising this to our attention. You did the dissection back in Hong Kong? :)

Yes, I did the dissection in Hong Kong. :)

No worries. Yours is just another source of confirmation and validation of the existence of this species in Singapore.
You bought the book via mail order? Should've told me. I would've given you BC members' discounted price. ;P
