Salient features.
Large, female, very worn individual.
Two cell spots, lower one very large.
Spots seen on forewing in space 3 (large, triangular ) and in space 4, & 6.
Whitish weblike mark on both sides of the hindwing. ( developmental abnormality.)
Hindwing non-hyaline postdiscal white spots in space 2, 3, & 4.(better seen in pic 2). Not an artefact as it occur on both sides.
Hindwing ochreous ( yellowish-brown ), better seen in pic 2.
Best match : Female Caltoris bromus.
TL Seow:cheers:
Rechecking: This should be the female of the Contiguous Swift ( Polytremis lubricans).
On enlargement, postdiscal spot 4 is hyaline (pic 2) since it have a whitish rim. In pic 1 , an artefact ( ?tear , abrasion ) have cause interference .
So, it can not be a Caltoris.
The large lower cellspot with a much smaller upper cellspot touching it( pic 1 ), and the ochreous scaling are all consistent with the Contiguous Swift.
