Dr. Seow ,
Your assistance in this skipper would be much appreciated. The more I look at it the more I am getting confused!!!
It does looks like a Potanthus to me.....
Both pictures are from same individual.

Why did you conclude that it looks like a Potanthus, Sunny? Is it because of the size? From the markings and wing shape, this still looks more like a Telicota to me.

The size, forewing and hindwing markings.

It is a female Telicota.
Almost all Potanthus have a big spot in space 7 on the hindwing. If that is absent then there is a spot in space 6 above the band.
The 3 forewing subapical spots are also well-defined in Potanthus..
There is a dusky shading throughout the hindwing. The veins are lightly darkened.
These 2 features indicate this should be a female Telicota ohara.

Thank you Dr. Seow for the speedy replied .:)
I was getting thoroughly confused by some errors in the checklist on the Telicota species !!:bsmile:
Khew ,
We have this suspected Telicota ohara as voucher specimen for your setting and further examination !!
PS :
I was also partially confused by the Potanthusa confucius at this site..
http://kinmatsu.idv.tw/show.php?f=inset/Lepidoptera/butterfly-27
And a similar Potanthus confucius without the hindwing spot at space 6&7 at Pg 53 of the Encyclopedia of Hong Kong Butterflies ( Butterfly Identification ) 2010.

Small wonder, Sunny!
The 1st & last images in the website are Potanthus. The last probably correct as P. confucius.
The rest in between are Telicota.

I agree entirely with Seow on the website specimens. The overlapping spots 5 & 6 seem to indicate that the last is P. confucius. The rest, I would not want to guess, I hate these genera (there are quite a few I have real problems with!:) ).
