That is what I think too ...... there were a couple of them , distinctive red upper in flight . This one need a fireman's ladder to reach.:bsmile:

Yes , it is Super Delicious !

This gal made me chased her around the bush for almost half an hour , after Horace left me ..... ended up not too delicious a specimen.:bsmile:

The Green Oakblue has distinctive postdiscal band on both male and female . The female upper is purple blue versu the male's metallic green.

Well the topside shows one of the suffusa group rapalas,
and the suffused flash has that really broad brown border, much broader than r. dieneces.:)

I was torn between suffusa and dieneces as well but there are a few traits that point to dieneces(to me):

- the greater extent of orange intruding into the forewing cell in dieneces

- the veins 2, 3 and 4 on the forewing above are not clearly blackened/delineated in dieneces

Can't comment based on their versos though, since they're almost identical.
