Someone in our Facebook requested this to be identified . Could you confirm if this is Arhopala pseudomuta

The purplish sheen, rounded and contrasting spots point to Arhopala alitaeus (see this past thread (http://www.butterflycircle.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12134) with pics of bred adults).
BTW this species still awaits the final touch from Khew for inclusion in the Singapore checklist.

The species life history was first recorded by Ben Jin in November 2010 at this thread here (http://www.butterflycircle.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10561&page=3) and the credit of rediscovery of the species goes to Ben Jin .

Dr. Horace Tan based on Ben Jin's information on the location and hostplant recorded the life history again in November 2011 at this thread (http://www.butterflycircle.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12134) .
