Shot this skipper in the nature reserve today, and I am clueless about its ID.
Dr Seow, could you assist in providing an ID?

Looks like a male Pugnacious Lancer to me.

Looks like a male Pugnacious Lancer to me.
I was not sure because this one does not have "two black subapical spots" next to "a hyaline subspical spot" feature on the forewing. Both subapical spots appear to be hyaline.

Take a look at the shot of the female that I have in my book. Looks the same, no?

This does look like P. pugnans, but putting it side by side shows up the differences, ie wingshape, face/palpi not protruding, antennal club,& HW cilia.
It is a Caltoris without cellspots. Sharp FW; HW ochreous scaling with hint of green.
It should be a male C. philippina.
