Shot this a couple of months back, early in the morning. Obviously newly eclosed. E. torus or E. thrax thrax.

It is a female E. torus.
The angle of the shot makes it hard to judge the curvature of the FW, but it is fairly broad & curved mostly on the outer margin(termen).
In E. thrax. the FW apex is more pointed & the outer margin is straight.

Thank you. I had suspicions of it being E. torus. Took note of it's tremen on it's forewing. But wasn't too sure :hmmm:

Check this visual ID aid for lookalike , which were based on Dr. Seow descriptions of differences between the two skippers.
