It has to be a female Potanthus pallidus (P. pallida is grammatically incorrect ie. Potanthus -male gender, pallida- female gender.)
The distinctive features here are.
1. pale yellowish colour.
2. FW spot 4 & 5 strongly detached from the 3 subapical spots.
3. HW band strongly dislocated at vein vein 4 into 2 main groups of spots 2&3, and 4&5.
There are only 3 species of Potanthus in Sri Lanka ie P. pallidus, confucius & pseudomaesa.

Both P. confucius & pseudomaesa are orange in colour & have different arrangement of spots.

The Latin word pallidus/pallida of course means pallid or pale.
