Hi Lanzz, a technical suggestion:

If you follow my indication as in the picture, you can simply post your moths from Flickr directly in your posts, not only the link:

http://i61.tinypic.com/551768.jpg

So everybody can enjoy your pics directly :)

No. 7 Chiasmia avitusaria. (revised name.)
http://www.mothsofborneo.com/part-11/Macariini/macariini_6_8.php

No. 8 Unknown.Possibly Thalassodes; the HW white line will not match.

No. 9 Pseudalcis close to this.
Several genera ,eg Opthalmitis, Hypomecis rather similar, but only this one have the HW zigzag medial line running close to the eye.

15. Hypenagonia cf. brachypalpia.

There are several similar species of Hypenagonia.
Although it appears to be a dead ringer for H. mesoscia, this is only recorded from Australia.
http://lepidoptera.butterflyhouse.com.au/hypn/mesoscia.html
H. brachypalpia is very similar.(image in MoB poor.) Range Sri lanka , Borneo.

No. 21. Tochara creberrima female. Erebidae, Erebinae.
http://www.mothsofborneo.com/part-15-16/miscellaneous_iii/miscellaneousiii_2_1.php

No. 22. Eublemma cf. versicolor. Erebidae, Boletobiinae, Eublemmini.
Two near identical species were confused in the past.
Range Malaya, Borneo, Wallacea (Sulawesi, Maluku.)

The main difference states in E. perversicolor the colour grades more strongly into the darker distal area & it is smaller.
Range Taiwan, Sundaland to Australia.

The image of E. versicolor from Sulawesi(MoB, 2010 Edition) matches this.(Statement corrected).

E. versicolor is not onfirmed to occur in Australia (MoB 2011)so the below should be E. perversicolor but looks very much like versicolor.

No. 25. Cyana cf. catorhoda.

Execept for its paler bands it is virtually identical with the male C. catorhoda from Thailand.
Still it is difficult to be certain.

No. 8. ?Hemithea cf. marina. Correction : Some doubt here since the fascia are not punctate (spotlike) as stated in the text.
The darker blue-green colour, angular almost tailed HW, & green wing margins are distinctive.
http://www.mothsofborneo.com/part-9/geometrini/geometrini_38_7.php

The only other bluegreen species with a highly angular HW here, H. wuka is much larger. Wing margins are brown/red.
It is also a widespread species.

19 is Eublemma cf. albostriata.
http://www.oocities.org/asia/hkmoths/noc/noc/eub_albo.jpg

TL Seow:Cheers.

PS. This is more likely to be Eublemma rubra.
Although the pix of E. albostriata is from HK, Funet states Luzon as its type location & cite no other.
On the other hand E. rubra is widespread from India to Australia . It had also been recorded from Singapore.

No. 9 is very likely Pseudalcis cinerascens
This species is now recorded in P. Malaysia (MoB. March 2011). It is the only spp. with the HW discal fascia highly zigzag below the eyespot.

No. 19 may best be left as Eublemma albostriata, since it resemles the HK form more by its finer white fasciae.
http://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/318841-Eublemma-albostriata
E. rubra.
http://www.boldsystems.org/index.php/Taxbrowser_Taxonpage?taxid=592954

It is possible they are conspecific, since the original description of E. albostriata 1929 Wileman & West was from Luzon.
E. rubra 1902 Hampson was described from Sikkim, Java ,Singapore & Australia.

No 8 is not Hemithea marina.
Very distinctive, blue-green, no discal mark no abdominal brown patch or margins.

No. 11. uncertain what family.

No. 12. Scopula but no match.

No 19 probably best left as Eublemma albostriata.

No. 21. Tochara creberrima. see post 11.

No. 23. Looks like Noctuid but no match.

No. 24. Looks like Crambid but parallel fasciae indicate Noctuid, somewhat like Naardia.
