Dr. Seow , Your assistance on this stubby tailed Arhopala please !.... suspect it to be a female , with violet-blue upper :)

Can't see the pic.

However, if it is not of the aurea/trogon group, the most likely is A. democritus lycaenaria.

I am now certain that it is Arhopala democritus lycaenaria.

It certainly is.
This beautiful Oakblue was recorded from Singapore.
Perhaps it is still extant in the CCA.
