This has been discussed in the past but with much confusion.
Now that the picture is a lot clearer it is time for a review.
Abisara saturata.
Male FW bands without a white patch, but may be diffusedly broaden.
Bands fairly straight or arcuate.
HW white band may be angulated at vein 4 but not usually so.
HW tornal spots often pointy, ie teardrop-shaped.

Female :FW white patch large merging with white submarginal line.
Both bands' inner margins curve but not angled.
Tail tip more pointed.

Male; FW with white patch prominent especially on outer band.
Both bands may be strongly bent or angulated or only the outer band.
HW white band usually angulated at vein 4 (not always).
HW tornal spots more rounded.

The outer band is strongly angulated about 60 degree (note its inner margin).
HW 'tail' not pointed.

A common northern species, A. echerius resembles A. saturata but can be recognised by the straighter bands & very small HW spot 6, which is less than 1/2 or so that of spot 5.

A. kausambi have straight bands as in A. echerius but the FW 's outer band has a white patch as in geza.
Female. ( FW's inner band is always narrow & straight in both sexes.)

Punch ( Dodona ) resembles a man with a waistcoat & Judy a lady in a flared skirt.
