When it landed on the boardwalk in front of me, I was surprised to see the shining blue too. :omg:
My first thought was that it could just be another male Common Hedge Blue, but its larger size and the tails suggested something else. :hmmm:
A glimpse of its underside finally allowed me to confirm its id. :)
