Need help with these Arhopalas.

In spite of having the previous guides by Dr Seow, I still find it daunting to identify these. Looks like it's easier if accompanied by the upper wing shot..but these fellas seldom open thir wings in spite of my waiting! Help please! [There could be some pictures which are of the same Arhopalas]

These are terribly difficult.
The smaller members of the muta subgroup can be eliminated as the HW spot 1b is straight & not bent into a V.
eg A muta.

Typical A. amphimuta withe HW spot 1b a an equal arms V.

Typical A major with HW spot 1b having a longer lower arm.

Typical A. moolaiana with a fat V Spot 1b.

1. A. amphimuta.

2, 3, & 4 unknown HW spot 1b a wide bow. no match seen. probably a variant of a common species.

5, 6, & 7 looks correct for A. major.

Getting an upperside shot in Arhopala is extremely difficult & in all probability in this group of little use ,as they are near identical.

2 ,3, & 4 are are likely to be either A. amphimuta or major.
