Taken in 2015 in KL Butterfly Park with a compact camera. Thought I had the ID correct but the wing coloration looked odd. The scalloped margin of the hind wing and the straight edge of the fore wing margin points to a typical Satyrinae? Would appreciate your help. Thanks.

It should be a male Discophora timora perakensis.
D.sondaica despolita have very angular HWs & small eyespots.

The difficulty based on the undersides is between D. necho & timora. They are near identical.
D. timora perakensis. Underside FW outer margin of dark band highly irregular with a series of deep indentations. (corrected: not inner margin)
FW costa with a more prominent yellow patch. HW outer margin noticeably angled at vein 4.

HW outer margin not angled at vein 4.
