A further image of a grass yellow from Chiang Dao. Would this possibly be E. brigatta also?

Thanks

dsf Eurema hecabe.

The FW cell have a single comma -like cellspot ruling out E. brigitta which totally spotless in the FW cell.

Secies with a single FW cellspot.
1. E. andersonii ;HW postdiscal spot 7 long & sinuous & reaching the HW cellend bar ; FW inner edge of black border about parallel to outer margin.

2. E. novapallida (2 cellspots but only one clear) ;HW spot 7 sinuous but less defined, the upper end with a dark spot; FW inner edge of black border inclined towards the corner of FW.

Eurema hecabe ;Very variable ;dsf dark shaded ;HW spot 7 shapeless or a diffuse blotch; HW roundly quadrate.
FW cell with two cellspots ,but one of both may be absent.

A further problematic photo - from Mae Ping. The general wing shape and patterning looks like Common Grass Yellow E. hecabe, but the shape of the black area on the upper forewing does not show the usual sharp 90 degree corner. Looks more like E. laeta, but the colouration looks too strong. Thoughts please?

E. hecabe.. FW border variable.

E. laeta's HW is strongly angular & is marked with diffuse dark bands.

Thanks you. That was my guess. Didn;t realize how variable the black in the forewing apex can be.
