Photographed around Mae Hong Son, nw Thailand. Two images of the same individual.
Amblypodia narada is a rather scarce butterfly in northern Thailand, and several images I have posted previously have turned out to the A. anita.
However, this individual has a rather evenly curved dark edge to the dark area on the under hind wing, indicative of A. narada.
The broad black border to the upper forewing indicates this is a female, and looks to be more closer to narada than anita looking at the extent of blue on the hind wing.
Comments on the identification greatly received please.
