Is this a badly worn out Papilio palinurus?

Taken at KL Butterfly Park. What is unusual is that the apical region of the forewing looks different as if the greenish scales have been sloughed off.

A developmental anomaly due to a genetic defect.
Injury will not cause such neat precise pattern.
