These are two different individual as spot 8 (topmost of the 3 subapical spots) is larger in pix 2.

1. Potanthus omaha male ;abdominal end yellow; HW upperside with the veins dark. Correction; this is for Pix 2.

2. Potanthus ganda male : Underside veins barely darkened ;heavier HW dark shading centrally & edging the band. Correction; This is for Pix 1.

In the past These two species cause a lot of confusion because of great individual variation in the amount of vein darkening.
The abdominal end in both species is yellow in the males & lightly dark-dusted above in the females.

P.omaha :FW12mm.; Upperside with HW veins across band variably dark-dusted; Underside veins also darkkened ; lightly shaded & band not edged with dark shaded spots in the male (a little so in the female ); ochreous.
Upperside male.

Underside. males ; note barely any dark edgings to the band ;veins are distinctly dark.

I have another shot of a third individual and this looks more like a Potanthus omaha.

Post 3.

Potanthus ganda male.
The veins across the HW band are not darkened.

TL Seow: Cheers.

PS: ID Corretion: This is likely to be Potanthus mingo. There appeared to be a black band/patch at the abdominal end, & the lower margin of the HW band is strongly notched.

Note the lower margin of the HW band is only slightly notched, & the abdominal end is yellow in P. ganda.

P. mingo : Note HW band outer margin strongly excavated.

Post 1.

Pix 1 with the underside is that of Potanthus ganda.

Pix 2 showing the partial upperside is that of Potanthus omaha.

TL Seow: Cheers.
