Stumbled upon this (https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10156403222009118&set=gm.2263913817202044&type=3&theater&ifg=1)on Facebook taken by David Ho, who has kindly allowed me to share this on the forums. It was seen in the MacRitchie area.

Seems very likely A. allata pandora to me. Thoughts?

Concur it is A. allata.

This & the related A. delta were recorded in Singapore.
I recalled Federick has an Arhopala taken a decade ago that was identifiable as A. delta.

TL Seow: Cheers.

Thx for the confirmation!

Dr Seow, if you're referring to this post (http://www.butterflycircle.com/showthread.php?6046-Some-Shots-at-SF&highlight=delta), i think it's also allata because the post-discal band on the forewing seems not dislocated enough for delta. I don't think anyone has shot delta yet

I concur it is likely A. allata.
In fact I wanted to change the ID long ago, but all the examples of A. allata seen have a rather straight FW band, and doing a flip-flop on the ID is always a bad idea without checking further material.
As it is nothing similar have appear until now.

TL Seow: Cheers.
