1. Telicota colon female.

The female Telicota can be more confusing than the male.

The male T. colon have distinctive spots in a step ladder arrangement.
http://www.butterflycircle.com/checklist/mugshots/Telicota%20colon%20stinga/Telicota-colon2-KSK.jpg

Most females follow this closely .
https://farm66.static.flickr.com/65535/49061960366_11b0375b10_b.jpg
https://farm66.static.flickr.com/65535/49061960366_11b0375b10_b.jpg

Spot 4 is often shaped like a truncated pyramid.
In this case the stepladder is less obvious ,but spot 4 is typical.

The female of T. besta is similar but spot 4 & 5 are rectangular.

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ivyqC9z0up0/UzgtPSrblgI/AAAAAAAAN0c/5Tgfy-BHJrQ/s1600/HFH_1648-Telicota+sp.jpg

The female of T. linna do not have the HW veins dark-dusted & the underparts whiter.
http://www.butterflycircle.com/checklist/mugshots/Telicota%20linna/TL_female_02.jpg

The female T. augias is more orangey & thw HW band is poorly contrasted.

2 & 3 Jamides bochus.
Very easily confused with Nacaduba spp. but HW white stria forms a sharp spike near inner margin.

From the abdominal end it is a female.
The antennal club has a pale area which is normally invisible in Baoris.
Also Baoris female has a more elongate body; a pale mark at HW cellend; more curved FW.
Female B. oceia.

1 & 2 Permara pugnans. Very worn.
The finely speckled ground pattern can still be seen.
The long thin tapering black antenna is a helpful hint.

The triangular cellend spot with its lower margin in line with the thin cellular bar is characteristic.

They are both female Baoris.

Baoris have a more imposing swept FW with the termen (outer margin) more sinuous.
Compare the FW of Caltoris cormasa female.

The darker grey-brown one is B. oceia.
The lighter brown one B. farri.
