Mycalesis mineus mineus.

Several species are very similar often confused with one another.
The shape of the indentation forms by the inner margins of the HW ocelli is a useful guide.

Mycalesis mineus.
FW spot 2 fairly large, its outer white striae usually fused with the inner white postdiscal band, but is well clear of the submarginal stria.
HW with the indentation formed by the inner margins of the ocelli skewd towards the upper third,
The small spots 4 & 5 always well formed.
HW lower four ocelli in line or nearly so.
M. mineus mineus.
