It should be correct as a male Horaga onyx sardonyx.
Note UnH white band cut across vein 1a.

In Singaporec& P. Malaysia, Horaga syrinx maenala always have the FW white spot narrow especially in the male.
The UnH white band does not cross vein 1a.
The upperside blue is brighter.

North in S. Myanmar & central Thailand it gets complicated as H. syrinx moulmeina have a big white spot & looks identical to H. onyx.
However on the UnH the white band still do not cut across vein 1a.

Forms with big white spot is unknown here.

H. onyx sardonyx upperside is a dingier ,morepurplish blue.
FW white spot larger & notched.
UnH the white band continue across vein 1a.

Note the three figures on the right side.
Fig 3 H. onyx sardonyx
Fig 6 H. syrinx maenala f-maenala (invalid name)
Fig 9. H. syrinx maenala f- halba (invalid)

All three speciemens are taken in Singapore.

TL Seow:Cheers.

PS. Here is a female H. syrinx .
Vein 2 ends with the longest tail ; vein 1b with the 2nd longest tail.
The tip of the curved part of the white band ends at vein 1a.

In the your image Google zoom will show clearly vein 1a interrupting the white band ie the band crosses it.

Thank you, Dr Seow.

I believe that the following Horaga is also H. onyx, based on the ID key that the UnH white band cut across vein 1a? Is it a male or a female? The FW termen is rounder than the H. onyx in post 1.

It is a female H. onyx.
The abdominal end which a broad slanted cut indicate a female.
The male have a truncated brush like end.

The 2nd segment of the labial palp (palpus) is longer in the female.
The male in post 1 have an injury to the labial palp.

TL Seow: Cheers.

Need ID confirmation.... is it a female H. onyx? It has a rounder FW termen, which is typical of a female? But it does not have a broad slanted cut on its abdominal end and the labial palp is shorter than the female in post #3.

Post 6.
It is a male.

There is some variation in wingshape.

Some males have wingshape closer to the female & vice vera.

Mating pairs.
