Male Nacaduba calauria.

The four 6line blues in Singapore can sometimes be quite diificult to seperate in photos.
Being closely related there will be the occassional hybrid causing bigger confusion.

N. berenice.
Both sexes with the dark striae within the bands prominent. male FW rounded.
FW postdiscal band often crooked or partially broken in the middle.
FW submarginal spots irregular often not pointed; if spots 4 & 5 are pointed they are chevron ,broadly V-shaped.
Male pale lavender blue, but often reflected as a deeper brighter blue.
Female pale blue patch.

Both sexes with prominent dark striae. Male FW rounded.
FW postdiscal band almost always straight & unbroken.
FW submarginal spots with only spots 4 & 5 sharply pointed & triangular.
Male upperside darkish violet blue.
Female with darkish blue patch.

N. kurava.
Male with dark straie weak, female normal; Male outer FW margin straight.
FW postdiscal band usually straight.
FW submarginal spots broadly rounded or with rounded corners.
Male upperside medium blue with see-thru pale striae.
Female with white apical shading to blue patch.

N. beroe
Male with the dark striae weak ,usually obsolete. Male FW with rather straight margin.
FW lacks the innermost costal spot above the mid cell band (as in Ionolyce helicon)
FW postdiscal band usually dislocated.
Males darker violet blue.
Female dakish blue patch with whitish FW submarginal spots.
