Dear Sir,
From my field experience, many times I have seen the spot on space 4 is very tiny (almost absent) for Y. huebneri which apparently make confusion between Y. asterope. Can you please elaborate on how can differentiate between the two of these? I am talking about Indian species.

This can be quite difficult.
The best is to look at the submarginal striae on the HW.

Y. hubeneri.
UnH submarginal striae irregular & wavy, so there is no clear pale marginal band seen.

Y. asterope.
UnH submarginal striae parallel to the margin, so that often a pale uniform marginal band is seen.

This one should be Y. asterope.
