Male Arhopala eumolphus.

I didnt realise these two can look rather similar in India.

The abdominal end & short palpi (labial palps) show it is a male.

Arhopala hellenore hellenore.
Male with more acute FW & tapred HW.
HW tail shorter & straight.
Often more contrasted with heavier whitish shadings in the discal area.
Spots larger , HW postdiscal spots 6 & 7 rounder, thicker with a shallower notch.

Arhopala eumolphus eumolphus.

HW tail longer & sinuous if intact.
Markings less contrasted.
Spots narrower ,HW postdiscal spots 6 & 7 more strongly indented, notched.
