Not sure these 3 are J.alecto? Different margin pattern? Seen at same spot same hour - Penang mainland - lowland area

All female Virachola kessuma.
The female in particular have the FW submarginal spots forming a zigzag band.

4. Male Potanthus trachala.
Note FW band is broken , ie spots 4 & 5 detached.

5. This rather blurry & wingshape is distorted.
Abdominal end blackish, & FW spots appear detached.
Pribably female Potanthus trachala.

6 .Arhopala pseudomuta.

Two species can look similar in fieldshots.

A. pseudomuta markings less contrasted, often less rounded.
Both wings submarginal bands not broken into spots.

A. alitaeus pardenas . Markings more rounded & contrasted; Both wings submarginal bands broken into lunulate spots.

A. elopura.
Markings with straight margins.

7. Chersonesia paraka.
The four bands are brown with black edges.

8. Notocrypta clavata.
Underside FW band continue broadly to the costal margin. Spot 4 almost always absent.

9. Pemara pugnans.
Note long tapering antennal clubs & upperside pattern.

10. Female Telicota besta.
HW veins lightly dark.
In life the underside of the female is greenish ochreous.

11. Female.
Many of the smaller Lycaenids are similarly marked & it is difficult without the underside shot.
Confusingly the 2nd pic suggest the pattern is on the underside.
