Male Arhopala amphimuta milleriana.
The markings are as for the amphimuta group.
Amphimuta subgroup larger & toothed at vein 2.
The HW have no tornal white spot so it is either A. amphimuta or major.
It is not always easy to separate the two based on the underside.
The UnH postdiscal spots are more often in line & the V spot large.
Upperside male border a thread in ssp amphimuta & broader in ssp milleriana.

ssp milleriana.

Arhopala major major.
UnH postdiscal band dislocated & V spot distorted, often J or L shaped.
Upperside border broad in the male.

It can be very difficult to id Melanitis in angled & distorted shots.
However, the male of M. phedima have rounded wings & black upperside.
