These three images were all taken in southern Thailand, and hence are either Chersonesia rahria rahria or Chersonesia intermedia intermedia.
I've read the notes on Butterfly Circle, Kimura and Ek- Amnuay, but when I compare the notes to the images on Thaibutterflies or Yutaka the confusion just increases, since the notes concerning line width and bars on apex do not seem at all obvious. I would be grateful for some comments on these three please.
I think 1 and 3 are rahria and 2 is intermedia, but I could well be wrong.
Many thanks

You are quite right. Image 1 & 3 are C. rahria and 2 is C. intermedia.

In the past these were so confusing it seem to make no sense.

Note the band width is quite variable & not as precise as stated in the key.
Which were the subapical spots were also confusing.
I have since worked these out.

Chersonesia rahria.
FW with a curved diffuse apical crossfascia.
FW with one subapical spot. Sometimes some smudges below it.
HW postdiscal band typically nearly 2X as wide as the inner two bands
Males.

Chersonesia intermedia.
FW without a crossfascia at the apex.
FW with two subapical spots.
HW postdiscal band as wide as thevtwo inner bands or at most about 1.5X wider.
Males ssp intermedia.

Added.
In Chersonesia intermedia rahrioides the HW outer band is twice as broad as the two inner bands.
The 2nd (lower) subapical spot may be smudged ,weak or absent.
This make it very similar to Chersonesia rahria but the apical cross-bar is absent
(rahrioides = like the taxon rahria.)
