The absence of a spot at the inner edge of the hindwing is rather confusing. I assume this is a Potanthus, as general features match. The veins are darkened and the spots in FW spot 4 and 5 are slightly overlapping on one side. This looks good for P. mingo to me. Initially I thought P.omaha, but the altitude at 1,300 metres is far too high. From Doi Inthanon, n Thailand, 15 Jul 24. Many thanks.

This is most likely to be Telicota linna male.
Although it looks like Potanthus because of deficiency of orange scales along the FW costa, the grey brand indicate it is a Telicota.
Telicota may be divided into two groupa.
A. FW base of space 2 with a patch of orange in the male , ie T. augias, colon besta.
T. besta male showing the orange in space 2 base.
Taiwan.

Many thanks for the feedback. I had noticed the grey brand, but was not aware that was a good feature for Telicota. That makes much more sense now, together with the lack of spot in HW. Many thanks
