Has anyone seen any dead butterfly recently ?
Two weeks ago, Simon Chan found a dead very rare Aropala inside his flat and last week I found a dead (can be consider rare) Brown Awl skipper just outside my apartment ! Both butterflies were still soft indicating they die not too long ago. I suspect they die of poisoning from the fumigation that has been carried out more and more frequently these days :-(

I got a half dead dragonfly outside my door in the morning instead. Die when I am back home in the evening.

"Sherry says" .. she found a dead Lemon Emigrant in her school the other morning. By the time she brought to her office, the body already hardened.

Yes, I found one dead male Lemon Emigrant in my garden last week - not more than 1 day. :hmmm:

Strange, I also saw 2 butterflies dead on the floor yesterday. 1 at Tampines and 1 at Paya Lebar.

The bird would have swallowed the whole butt. Ants should be the culprits.
