This one was shot in dim light. AF fail! :-( Have to use MF. Took only 2 shots and it flew off. Luckily one of the shots still looks a bit ok; took quite some time in PS to make it more presentable.
It looked quite fat. :bsmile: I can't seem to be able to id it. Anyone?

Heh heh... now Neo can go test all those "experts" out there who think they know all about identifying butts and moths.
This is a moth species of the Callidula genus. You can read about some of the other species here (http://www.geocities.com/RainForest/Vines/8983/moths/callidul.html) and here (http://www.geocities.com/RainForest/Vines/8983/moths/sumatren.html).
It really flies like a butt, and hops around in the dark shady forest canopy. Not easy to shoot.

Seems like I'm just following 'footpath' that pple have gone thru'. :bsmileo: :hello:
Somehow I must have felt odd and decided to post this species separately and titled it as 'Species 67?'
Might be because of the fat abdomen.
