From a usual survey outing, BPals have succeeded in adding one more species to the Singapore checklist in 'record' time. After a few shots of this UFO, and a chance cross-reference by Chung Pheng, the lead allowed us to narrow down the new species to Catopyrops ancyra, a species which has not been found in Singapore before. The exact subspecies will take some time to ascertain, but we now know for sure that this species' ID is correct.
As there were several sightings of it over the past months, we can take it that there is already a small colony of it in Singapore and hopefully, they will continue to exist here permanently! :jumjoy:
Three cheers to BPals!
