I have one LB cat pupated two days ago, hope it will not hatch on Friday.
Another LB cat has been missing since this morning, could not find where it is hiding !

Did you put the lime plant cutting in a bottle of water. If so look into the water.

oops, didn't notice your reply. Thanks.
Both LB cats pupated on the Lime plant itself and hatched.
One on early yesterday morning. The moment I went close to it, it flew off.
Second pupa hatched this morning. Lukily I isolated the stem with the pupa and put a green piece of paper behind it yesterday night. So managed to get a few shots but missed the opportunity to shoot its upperside.
Don't like the dark green should have chosen a lighter green background.

Thanks CM and Sherry.
I woke up too late (at 7 pm). So didn't withness the amazing process.
Good that your PT hatched but pity it flew off before you could take a shot. Can try again.

yep, same here... dun see any LB... however, Common Mormon population on the rise here... just discovered 5 eggs on my curry plant... strange, the curry plant at my balcony seem to attract a fair bit of business... but the one at my ground floor which is like a huge huge bush, dun seem to have any caterpillars... no insecticides or whatever... wonder why? :hmmm:

They seem to prefer the small young plantlets. I have a Curry Leaf tree (yes tree!) which is about 5m tall in my backyard, and seldom see any CMs on it. But the birds that feed on the seeds help to propagate little plants all over the garden. That's where Sherry's plant came from. ;-) Many of the other plantlets have CM cats on them quite often. But since they are outside I leave them alone, and most of the time, the cats will end up in some birdie's tummy! ;P

Your little potted plant will probably attract more CMs to it than the big plant.

Be patient... if you have too much biz, you'll have a botak plant...
