Very fortunate to see this moth at Lower Peirce.
Picture not very clear but just to share and hope the name is correct.

Not far off with the name - seems there have been a few extra letters thrown in somewhere along the line.
Correct name is Spirama retorta (http://internt.nhm.ac.uk/jdsml/perth/lepindex/detail.dsml?TaxonNo=279764.0&UserID=&UserName=&) (Clerk, 1764)
Current placement is in Noctuidae (or Erebidae!), subfamily Catocalinae
