An old record shot of a tattered Great Archduke (Lexias cyanipardus sandakana) taken in Dec 2002 at Bunker Trail. Just to keep it here so that I can find it. ;P
This species was described in C&P4 as "A still larger species, recently captured in Johore, is L. cyanipardus sandakana in which the male is generally similar to that sex of L. pardalis but is more olive brown below, while the female is spotted with bluish white above."
The species is much larger than those found in Singapore, up to 30-40% larger, and flies very fast. Note the very distinct white apical spot on the male's forewings, which the other species don't have .
