Anyone caught the news report? Looks like moth cats to me, but well.. I'm not an expert. Anyone caught the ID of the cats?

They are possible moth cat. Saw some on the footpath outside IMM building in Jurong last night. about 2 inches, dark brown and hairy.

Let's hope the rest of the butts can do well too.

Anyone have pictures of the cats yet? In such "newsworthy" exposures in the past, it's usually the moth cats that tend to get all the limelight.
The only occasion I recall where the 'culprit' was a butt cat was at the Ulu Pandan canal, where it was reported to be "raining" cats under an Albizia (P. falcataria) tree. The shots showed cats from the Eurema genus, probably blanda.;P
That was many years ago.
