Found this female Green Baron puddling on the ground. This seems to break the tradition that only male butts puddle.

The Nymphalinae females do puddle. But it's probably looking for some rotting organic material amongst those pebbles rather than the salts that the Pieridae and Papilionidae puddle on.

Next time, I will have a closer look at the ground to see what goodie is there. :grin2:
