Silver Forget-Me-Not

Looking at the checklist again, and refering back to some old posts. I'm having doubt as to whether this is Silver Forget-Me-Not. Both types have a black dot (according to the cxlist pictures) on the forewings. Or is the only way to differentiate is by looking at the colors? I supposed silver should appear more white/silver?

Have you got the paler version perched on the leaf? I suspect that's a forget-me-not...hmmm

hopefully, with the upper side shot, someone with butterfly encyclopedia can id it.

The ID characteristic is on the underside of the forewing and not the uppersides. What you've shot here is a male Silver Forget-Me-Not. Same with what James posted in his other thread. :)
