Butterfly ID

I saw this butterfly yesterday. I tried to check in the Singapore Checklist but the page could not be redirected properly. Please help me with its ID.

This is the Bamboo Tree Brown (Lethe europa malaya). Quite a skittish butt and not easy to shoot. Well done! :cheers:

That is a rather rare encounter!

As the common name suggests it is found around its hostplant the bamboo . What you have shot is a male by the look of the narrow fore wing white band, the female has a thicker fore wing white band.

Yes, it is a skittish butt and I managed to take only one shot of it. This is the first time I see this species.
