Encountered this very large skipper visiting flowers at the fence of this private house along the forest edge. At first I thought I have myself another UFO, but checking C&P4 revealed that this is very likely the male of the Hoary Palmer (Unkana batara ambasa). Note the extra long proboscis.

That is a really big skipper if that flower is a normal-sized hibiscus.

Hmmm I think I know where that flowering plant is located, if I am not mistaken it is opposite the Ordina site. The Great Helen also love to visit that fence line through out the day.
The flowering plant is Bauhinia kockiana ( Leguminosae ).

Sunny,
You are right about the location. There were many butts, including three Great Helen's, visiting that fence line during the 30 minutes' period I was there. I also caught sight of N. pactolus suspect in the vicinity. Fluffy Tit's host plant is also just there right next to the host plant for Odina.

Horace, it is the male Hoary Palmer. The size and red proboscis renders it unmistakeable!
