It may be 'Common' but this Miletus chinensis learchus is not on the Singapore checklist.
1) Male, 2) Female (old photo)

Les ,
Thank you for sharing the shots of Miletus chinensis learchus.
Hope you dun mind , what is the main differences in the markings of M chienensis learchus as compare to:
1 Miletus biggsii biggsii (Biggs's Brownie)
2.Miletus symethus petronius
Do you happen to have Miletus gopara gopara over at KS ?
Cheers!

Biggsi is much smaller, and the upperside of chinensis is almost entirely brown, only a tiny white patch. When I was in Singapore, I could tell immediately that the biggsi I saw was a different species from this. I have not found biggsi here yet.
I do not think I have found gopara yet, but this genus is a bloody hard one to get right. I have on my provisional list M. croton and M. gaesa, but I have doubts about them.
