Found this the other day. I thought it might be related to the British Emeralds, so I checked under the Geometrini, but could not find it. Could someone help, (Roger). Thanks.

check Euxena albiguttata (http://www.mothsofborneo.com/part-9/geometrini/geometrini_19_1.php)
Geometridae, Geometrinae.
cheers, Roger.

Thanks, Roger. I had actually looked at that species. It did look very close, but it does not have Thailand in its range, and also, the colour was much brighter in my specimen (though I suspected that the pic showed a worn/old specimen). You have confirmed my suspicions.
Are the pics on the Borneo site meant to be lifesize? My specimen was at least 1 1/2 to 2 times the size shown.

Hi Les,
I think the MoB (online) photos are nothing like the right size - in this case 1.5 times would be about right, I think. I was using the printed version which is much easier to work with.
Your specimen looks reasonably freshly eclosed.
cheers, Roger.
