A Pretty Moth

Dear All and Roger,
Came across this beautiful Moth on the Curtain.
My knowlege of Moth is rather limited, the only large moth species I know of is the Atlas Moth, not sure is this also belong to the same species or another kind.

Is this a recent find? They seem to have breakouts in large numbers during the past years. Do a keyword search for Lyssa zampa and you will see past threads/posts on this species. We have even found the caterpillars!

Thanks for the quick response and directing to the relevant sites for this moth. I found the Moth just this morning about 8. Will check the vicinity to see whether any others around.
