Is this a Panara sp.?

Found on my garden hedge yesterday. As far as I can see, this is a Panara sp., either P. ganga or P. naso bada. Can someone please adsvise?

There'll be a lot of speculation and debate on this, Les. I can't say for sure either way, cos there are many species which appear like what you've shot in the field, including the Polytremis, Pelopidas and Isma to mention a few. :sweat:

To reduce some of the possibilities, I can mention that there are no cell spots on the upper forewing, and there are 3 small spots on the upper hindwing.
