Cleared up yesterday, to allow a short 'window of opportunity' to go out. Not very much about, but managed a few sightings.
Papilio palinurus palinurus (Banded Peacock) - shame about the missing tail!

Cyrestris cocles cocles (Marbled Map)

Is the Banded Peacock common over there, you seem to encounter this fella often, wish we have it here is S'pore too.

I usually encounter 1 or 2 each day (usually flying high up), so for Samui, it can be considered quite common. It is a protected species in Thailand.
Don't get envious about not having this species in S'pore, you have many species down there that I would like to have up here too, but if we did have them, I would have no reason to travel!
