Interesting, there're from different form - f. intermedius & f. genutia
you mean the top one is f. intermedius (male) and the bottom one is f. genutia (female)? and they not supposed to be mated?
Sky Blue
20-Dec-2008, 09:39 PM
doesn't mean that, but I think not many have seen both form in the field, not to mention mating pair from different form. Or may be me only :p

Interesting to have the Two spotted Line Blues down at P Semakau!!
.....now getting more interesting, as to whether they actually island hopped from down south or as stowaway via imported plants.

what were you doing the whole time? :bsmile:
Sunny, thats why, when i first saw it, i was like 'HUH!?' sure a not! until i confirm with Khew on the ID then i'm quite sure it's the TSLB. It's really interesting, since P.sem is the southern most part of Singapore right? They might have hop on or came by plants.
Cheers!

Hope everyone had a great time.
Definitely exceeded expectations with so many species, and some curious ones too...
I'm sure John also had some new and interesting finds on the bees/wasps side too. :)

Yes, it's a very very tiring trip, trying to shoot as many butts as possible in a given time frame is indeed very challenging!
Cheers!
